I recently rediscovered my old magazine collection including some really early issues of The Face, and the evergreen i-D magazine in its original landscape format with screen-printed covers (the rest of it was black and white). A time so long ago that Depeche Mode were wearing jumpers, The Clash were still together, a young looking Paul Weller had just split The Jam and Madonna was the new ‘BoyToy’ on the block (her words not mine). The crop of Stephen Morris on the New Order cover blew my mind at the time and still looks great today. Great (Hard) times.
