Northbank

Northbank designed this colourful, 192pp book for ACC Editions. Written by Richard Lester, Boutique London follows the journey of the first risk-takers who started businesses in the King’s Road and Carnaby Street area of London in the sixties, from Mary Quant and John Stephen to Ossie Clark, ‘Mr Fish’ and ‘Granny Takes a Trip’. We used typefaces adopted at the time alongside the lavish illustrations of the weird and the wonderful, the glamorous and the bizarre. All-in-all a lovely project to work on.
